Sleep Wise helps families all over the world form healthy sleep habits for their children. They have a rock-solid team and service, but needed help with awareness and differentiation. At Mayhill Moon, our research revealed that moms are wearing “tired” and “busy” as a badge of honor and mom guilt is ever-present - especially with new moms. We created a concept that would start a movement to celebrate REST instead and flip #tiredasamother upside down. Thus, Rested as a Mother came to life and is creating a community around rest as the end result of Sleep Wise’s services.
THE CHALLENGE:
Moms everywhere were wearing “tired” and “busy” as a badge of honor and mom guilt is ever-present - especially with new moms. Sleep Wise has the ability to bring rest to households, but we needed moms to realize that REST is possible.
THE SOLUTION:
Effective marketing focuses on the end result for the consumer instead of the process. We created a concept that would start a movement to celebrate REST instead and flip #tiredasamother upside down. Thus, Rested as a Mother came to life and is building a community around rest as the end result of Sleep Wise’s services.
THE RESULTS:
The #restedasamother social media presence continues to grow, the Sleep Wise brand owns the strong Rested as a Mother positioning, and more and more moms are joining in the movement to end the stigma about being #tiredasamother.
